Expert Track Consultant. With over 40 years in the railroad industry, I have now retired and am offering my services and experiences for hire. I started with the Chesapeake & Ohio Railway Company in 1964 in the Engineering Department as a Rodman. I was promoted in 1967 and worked in the Bridge Department for the next 3 years. In 1970 I was again promoted as an Assistant Cost Engineer in the MOW Department. I was promoted to Track Supervisor in 1971 and held this position until being hired by the Federal Railroad Administration as a Track Safety Inspector in 1975 and held this position until retirement in December 2004. I am offering my services for the following:

· FRA Track Safety Standards, Classes 1 thru 5

· FRA Roadway Worker Program

· Fall Restraint - An addendum to Bridge Worker Regulations that allows track & signal personnel to perform minor work on a bridge without being encumbered with all of the Bridge Worker Regulations.

· FRA Bridge Worker Standards

· FRA Roadway Maintenance Machine Rule

· Working with railroad inspection personnel during their regular routine workday. I will be able to provide them with the knowledge and experience I have gained over the years of track inspection. I will be able to enhance their ability to inspect track and give them the means to be a proficient and thorough inspector.

· I am also available for other types of work, related to my expertise, such as "Expert Witness" in court cases.
